A full 3D slicer that runs in your browser

The 3D Fosil slicer runs a proven open-source slicing engine with close to 600 print settings. Changing a parent value updates every derived setting automatically, so you only touch what matters.

In short

The 3D Fosil online slicer offers close to 600 print settings in Basic, Advanced and Expert views and exports G-code for the printer you select.

What you get

  • Every print setting

Quality, walls, top/bottom, infill, material, speed, travel, cooling, support, adhesion, mesh fixes, special modes and experimental settings.

  • Smart defaults

Derived settings follow their parents, such as wall speeds from print speed and infill line distance from density.

  • Printer-aware output

Build volume, nozzle, filament diameter, G-code flavor and start/end G-code come from your saved printer.

  • Toolpath preview

Step through layers and toggle walls, skin, infill, supports and adhesion before downloading.

Online Slicer: common questions

How is the online slicer different from a desktop slicer?

It offers the same depth of print settings, but runs in the browser: nothing to install, your printers follow you to any computer, and slicing happens on 3D Fosil's servers.

Does slicing cost tokens?

No. Slicing and G-code export are included in every package, including Free.

Can I use my own start G-code?

Yes. Each saved printer has its own start and end G-code, and values such as {material_print_temperature_layer_0} are filled in from your settings.
